Introduction to Insert Ball Bearing
Insert ball bearing has the characteristics of compact structure, perfect seals, wide self-aligning range. It is easy to mount and dismantle.
Our insert ball bearing can be made by coining or welding molding steel, which not only improves the mechanical property, but also reduces the cost.
This kind of bearing can be widely used in agricultural machinery, textile machinery, foodstuff processing machinery and conveyor system, etc.

Characteristics of Insert Ball Bearing:
1. Trait of structure
According to their different fixing device, our insert ball bearings can be divided into three types: insert ball bearings with jacking screw, insert ball bearings with tapered adapter sleeve, and insert ball bearings with eccentric sleeve.
Insert ball bearings with jacking screw is fixed to the shaft through the use of two jacking screws. They are suitable for the applications where there is only radial load and the impact load is small.
Insert ball bearings with tapered adapter sleeve utilize the nut of adapter sleeve to join the shaft and bearing together. They can carry axial load.
Insert ball bearings with eccentric sleeve adopt screw nail to fix the shaft and connect the shaft with the bearing. They have excellent axial loading capacity.
2. Fitting dimensions:
The fitting allowance between the outer ring and bearing pedestal of insert ball bearing usually adopt H7. Besides, J7 and K7 are also available for different occasions.
The tolerance of bore diameter of insert ball bearing is “+”, and the diameter tolerance of shaft is usually h7, h8, and h9.
3. Method of Installation:
While mounting the insert ball bearing, operators should first mount the bearing pedestal on the bearing surface and then fasten the bearing to the shaft.
In order to fasten insert ball bearing with eccentric sleeve, operators should mount the eccentric sleeve on the eccentric platform of the inner ring, screw down the eccentric sleeve along the rotating direction of shaft, and then tighten the set screw by screw wrench.
4. Lubrication:
All the insert ball bearings are filled with a proper amount of grease (our company adopt No. 2 lithium base grease) when they are assembled in the factory.
When the working environment is poor, or the bearing is running at high speed, or the working temperature is above 70℃, users should add some grease to the bearing.
The supplementary grease must be the same with the original grease.
