Types of Multi-Stage Cylindrical Roller Thrust Bearings

1. Multi-stage cylindrical roller thrust bearing (basic type) adopts elastic spacer to connect the shaft washer, housing washer, roller and cage assembly.
The components of this Thrust Bearings are demountable. The user should assemble or dismount the bearing meticulously according to numeral order we provide.
2. Multi-stage cylindrical roller thrust bearing (shaft type) is made by penetrating an axis through the inner bore of basic type multi-stage cylindrical roller thrust bearing and fastening the bearing to the axis by locking collar.
The components of this type of cylindrical roller thrust bearing are inseparable.
In 2000, our multi-stage cylindrical roller thrust bearing (shaft type) obtained the national patent and was awarded “high-tech product” by Department of Science and Technology of Henan Province.
3. Multi-stage cylindrical roller thrust bearing (sleeve type) locking collar is made by covering a sleeve to the external of the basic type multi-stage cylindrical roller thrust bearing. It is also inseparable, and is assembled and disassembled as a whole.

Using Suggestions for and Applications of Tandem Thrust Roller Bearing
While using tandem thrust bearings, users should follow the following rules:
1. Preload
1% of the dynamic basic load rating should be preloaded. The dynamic basic load rating of every kind of tandem bearing is presented in Figure 1~3. Those not listed in the Figure will be provided by our company.

2. Radial guidance
Full complement cylindrical roller bearings and needle roller bearing can be used.

3. Eliminating titling
The supporting parts of our thrust bearing must be machined to eliminate tilting.

4. Mounting tolerance
To ensure the normal operation, we recommend the following mounting tolerance: shaft f6 and housing bore F7.

5. Bearing lubrication
Tandem bearings should be lubricated frequently by thin oil lubrication.

6. Bearing installation
While assembling and disassembling the bearings, users should not utilize hammer or other heavy things to strike their components.

7. Application
Since tandem thrust cylindrical roller bearings have limited radial cross section, super axial loading capacity, long service life and minimum friction loss, they are widely used in the gear box of parallel double screw extruder in rubber and plastic industry. Also, they will be popularized in other machineries.

2. Single row full complement cylindrical roller bearing SL1822…C3 series should be fitted with shaft p6, housing H7.
3. Single row full complement cylindrical roller bearing SL1830……C3 series should be fitted with shaft p6, housing H7.
4. Three row full complement cylindrical roller bearing SL139……series should be fitted with shaft m6, housing H7.
5. Four row tandem cylindrical roller thrust bearing T4AR……series should be fitted with shaft f6, housing F7.
6. Double row full complement cylindrical roller bearing SL1850……C3 series should be fitted with shaft p6, housing H7.
7. Single row full complement cylindrical roller bearing SL1829……C3 series should be fitted with shaft p6, housing H7.
8. Cylindrical roller thrust bearing 89400 series should be fitted with shaft h6, housing H7.
9. Tapered roller bearing 31300 series should be fitted with shaft h6, housing H7.
